Filza is a project for the Concept Design course (VSUO Module – 2nd Part) at the Politecnico di Milano. It’s a hack design developed for optimizing the manual binding system. The idea “A bookbinder in hand” has begun from the tools for leather goods manufacturing and typography, with a series of accessories: needles for binding, templates and rivets, has simplified and enhanced the ancient practices of binding.
