Hunger begins before it is named.
It moves as a sensation,
a quiet pressure that gathers within me.

It is not only about what is missing,
but about how I relate to that absence.

I live within a field of images and expectations
that shape how I might be seen.

These images move quickly,
forming ideals of beauty, form, and control.

At times, I begin to measure myself against them,
to adjust my sense of being
according to what is reflected back.

that I am still in relation with the world.

Still dependent on what sustains me
beyond appearance.

In moments when sensation becomes distant,
I feel a quiet absence within myself.
Quando la sensazione si allontana,
avverto un vuoto silenzioso.
My hunger becomes a way of returning,
of sensing again,
of remembering that I am not only observed,
but also experiencing.
La mia fame diventa un ritorno,
un modo di sentire di nuovo,
di ricordare che non sono solo osservato,
ma anche vivente.
