PERDAS is a performance born from an artistic residency on the island of Asinara — a magical space of research, resonance, and encounters with the land and with artists of rare sensitivity, created on the occasion of BRAL025 – Biennale di Resilienza, Arte e Paesaggio, organized by LWCircus.

The performance unfolds through a series of poetic fragments: a tree waiting for its season; the evening wind that tousled our hair; a black cloud drifting over the plain; an ordinary stone held as a talisman. Bodies listened to the trees, counted lightning, and diverted streams as if reshaping their own destinies. After the storm, the cold air descending from the glacier brushed against us — progress slow as lichens, blossoming like rare flowers. Through movement, breath, and the live music performed by the sound artist, the performers aligned themselves with the rhythm of Asinara, allowing nature and human presence to echo one another in a subtle, resilient harmony.

A key element of the costume design emerged from the exploration of the island’s traditional red fishing-net thread, transformed through crochet into delicate details that carried the gestures, textures, and memories of the place.
